Change IS good!
I finally broke down and got a mailing list manager.
Then, less than a month later, I finally set it up.
Hey...not everything on the Net is fast...
Man, what a relief to say goodbye to my old service, who shall remain nameless...
I can't count the subscribers I DIDN'T get because they "wanted too much information", according to a couple of people who actually took the time to let me know.
I figured what the heck, it was freee...
I had a free autoresponder service too.
And in both cases, I also had lots and lots of tag-along ads. I hated that.
Not to mention the limits they imposed!
Well, I got wise and got what I really needed...a program that does both!!
Better yet, it has a tracking function too.
Being the cheap and suspicious type I am, I asked a busload of people what they thought of it first. People waay ahead of the curve from where I am.
All of them raved about it. Without exception.
And me?? The least tech-savvy guy you could ever meet?
I just set it up for my newsletter and my autoresponders ALONE. No frantic emails to web designer pals, no wailing and gnashing of teeth, whatever that is.
Check it out, look it over, kick the tires. You can even use it for nothing on a trial basis!
If people who should know say it that good and a keyboard klutz like me says it's that good, it must be that good.
Only one way to know for sure...

Revisionism
Finally...
I think.
No, I don't mean that I'm finally thinking, I mean I finally sent my latest (and hopefully last) revised draft to my editor!
Wow, what a lot to go through for a little book...
It really isn't a big, impressive book. Just an important one.
If you're considering the move to working at home, that is.
More later!

Happy B-day to meeeeee...
Another birthday, come and gone.
Geez, every year, year after year...
Who really wants to keep that score once you've reached 21??
They do keep you on your toes, though. If one comes around and you say, "Whoa!!", it just might be time to look at what you're doing.
Are you doing what you like or what others like you to do? Do you enjoy each or just get through it? If you have kids, when's the last time you did what they wanted to do..and liked it??
Clock's ticking. Enjoy life!

Welcome to my mess!
At long last, a first post...:)
Sorry the place's isn't much to look at yet, but first I'll have to figure out HOW to fix it up.
Or do some very serious begging!
I suppose you'll want to hear The Latest...
One book may be finished and headed for publication in the near future, and another one (yeah, they're like peanuts and Lay's potato chips) is in the development stage. That one is something no one would expect from me...but why be predictable??
Oh yeah...the N.A.A.R. (National Alliance for Autism Research) walk is faaaaast approaching on October 3. How about emptying those pockets and making a big juicy donation right here:

You can eat again next month.
